First Week Pregnancy

Symptoms

The first week of pregnancy is often a time of excitement and anticipation. It’s also a time when many women begin to experience a variety of symptoms. While not all women experience symptoms in the first week of pregnancy, those who do may experience a range of symptoms, including:

• mood swings

• fatigue

• nausea

• breast tenderness

• frequent urination

Mood swings are common in the first week of pregnancy, as are feelings of fatigue and nausea. Breast tenderness and frequent urination may also occur. It’s important to remember that not all women experience all of these symptoms, and that symptoms vary from woman to woman.

If you are experiencing any symptoms in the first week of pregnancy, it’s important to consult with your healthcare provider. He or she can provide you with more information and advice about how to cope with your symptoms.

12 Weeks Pregnancy Symptoms

The 12 weeks pregnant symptoms can be a mixture of both good and bad. Most women will start to feel better during the second trimester, but there are some things you should be aware of during these three months.

The first 12 weeks of pregnancy is often called the “embryonic stage.” This is when your baby’s organs and tissues are forming. You may start to feel some of the early symptoms of pregnancy during this time, such as fatigue, morning sickness and breast tenderness.

Fatigue is one of the most common 12 weeks pregnant symptoms. During the early weeks of pregnancy, your body is working hard to support the developing baby. You may feel exhausted and need more sleep. Try to get as much rest as you can and avoid caffeine and other stimulants.

Morning sickness is also common during the first trimester. About half of pregnant women experience it. Nausea and vomiting can occur at any time of the day, but it is most common in the morning. Try to eat small, frequent meals and drink plenty of fluids. If the morning sickness is severe, talk to your doctor about medications that can help.

Breast tenderness is another common symptom during the first trimester. Your breasts may feel swollen and sore. This is caused by the increase in hormones during pregnancy. It usually peaks around week six and goes away by the end of the first trimester. You can wear a supportive bra to help relieve the discomfort.

Other common 12 weeks pregnant symptoms include:

• Mood swings
• Headache
• Bloating
• Constipation
• Diarrhea
• Urinary frequency

Most of these symptoms will go away as your pregnancy progresses. But if you have any concerns, be sure to talk to your doctor.
