How Does Fsh Affect Fertility

?

FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) is a hormone that helps to regulate the menstrual cycle and stimulate the production of eggs in the ovaries. When a woman is trying to conceive, FSH levels need to be just right in order for her to ovulate and conceive.

If FSH levels are too high, it can indicate that the woman’s ovaries are not working properly and she may have difficulty conceiving. If FSH levels are too low, it can indicate that the woman is not ovulating regularly and she may also have difficulty conceiving.

If you are having difficulty conceiving, your doctor may order a blood test to measure your FSH levels. If your FSH levels are high or low, your doctor may recommend fertility treatments to help you conceive.
